Mung bean is a annual legume to 60cm. Often used as green manure crop due to its prolific growth rate and ability to fix nitrogen. Mung bean is also excellent for sprouting and milling into flour. Leaves and pods can be eaten fresh. For the purpose of a green manure crop combine sowing with Millet and Sunflower seed.
